A 28-year technology industry veteran, Russ is responsible for developing Agilence's overall strategy and leading its growth. Prior to Agilence, he built two early stage technology companies into successful businesses. He was President and CEO of SilverStorm Technologies, a developer and manufacturer of high performance computer networking equipment from 2004 until 2006 when he sold the company to QLogic Corporation. Prior to SilverStorm, he was the President and CEO of Paragon Networks, a developer of wide area backhaul solutions for wireless networks, which he sold to Carrier Access Corporation in 2003. Prior to Paragon, Russ spent 15 years at Lucent Technologies in a variety of management positions. He graduated from Boston College in 1980.
With nearly 30 years of experience, Brian has a distinguished background in technology leadership across a wide array of functions from systems architecture, software development, QA and testing. He also has deep experience in operations, infrastructure, business continuity, and security management. Brian is responsible for leading all aspects of technology development and utilization, which includes software architecture, functionality development, QA, and IT. Prior to joining Agilence, Brian has held positions with AOL, Comcast, SevOne, Katabat, and Prevalent. He is a graduate of the University of Delaware where he concentrated on programming and information systems in the computer science department.
Bruce has nearly 30 years of diverse leadership experience in finance, accounting, and operations for technology companies backed by venture capital and private equity. In his role with Agilence, he will be responsible for leading all aspects of finances including investments, capital structure, and management of income and expenses. More specifically, Katz will help align Agilence’s ownership of intellectual property with recognition from the larger investment community. Prior to joining Agilence, Bruce held financial leadership positions with a number of technology companies including Datapipe and EnterpriseDB.
Catherine Penizotto brings over 30 years of Retail and Loss Prevention experience to Agilence. As VP of Customer Success, she is responsible for all aspects of client onboarding, application and technical support services, as well as cultivation of client relationships and planning of 20/20 community events. Prior to joining us, Catherine established OPTIC Loss Prevention, a consulting firm focused on helping retail businesses protect their bottom line. Previously, she served as North East Regional Director of Loss Prevention for Sears Holding Corp. and held the position of Director of Asset Protection and Data Integrity at Penn Traffic before that. Catherine has served many years as a volunteer for the Loss Prevention Foundation.
Pedro Ramos is responsible for managing the Agilence sales team across our national platform. He has overseen the growth of the 20/20™ Data Analytics Suite of products adding over 110 logos in a 5 year period. Prior to Agilence, he managed the loss prevention and reverse logistics programs for Pathmark, a 141 store supermarket chain, acquired by A&P in 2008. While at Pathmark, he led Pathmark’s loss prevention program, which consistently delivered industry leading shrink results. Pedro is a former chairman of the New Jersey Food Council’s Loss Prevention Committee. He is active in the Pennsylvania Food Merchants Association, NY Food Industry Alliance and the Loss Prevention Foundation. He graduated magna cum laude from Kean University, earning a BS in Business Management Science and Economics.
A veteran in operational and loss prevention technology industries, Raoul has spent 25+ years focused in retail and hospitality. Raoul is the Vice President of Strategy & Business Development, and in his role at Agilence Raoul is responsible for overall strategy and company growth in all aspects of the business. Raoul enters his position with a highly accomplished career in Retail Operations, Sales, and Technology. Prior to joining Agilence, Raoul was the founder of XBR Loss Prevention Systems, a pioneer in the exception reporting space. He oversaw its growth and market leadership for nearly 20 years, and through subsequent acquisitions by Datavantage, Micros, and finally Oracle. He is accomplished in understanding retail and hospitality businesses, their data, the concepts of analytics and BI and delivering applications that deliver results to the industry.
Derek Rodner has overall responsibility for the product strategy at Agilence. Before joining Agilence, Derek was Vice President of Marketing at PERFMAN, a cross-platform systems management software provider. Prior to joining PERFMAN, Derek was responsible for worldwide marketing for EnterpriseDB Corporation, spearheading the growth of the company to over 300 customers and millions in sales. Before EnterpriseDB, Derek held a number of marketing roles at Unisys Corporation. He led the open source initiative at Unisys and was responsible for the marketing of their Intel server line. In addition, Derek was the first non-employee Chairman of the Marketing Board for the Open Source Development Labs (OSDL). Derek was also the founder and president of a business re-engineering firm for Fortune 500 companies. Derek is a graduate of Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.
