NextStage Capital

NextStage Capital focuses on finding undiscovered early stage investment opportunities in the Mid-Atlantic region. With an emphasis on technology software, hardware and services, our goal is to find talented entrepreneurs with a compelling and validated technology offering and help them build company value.

Our team draws on years of experience as entrepreneurs and venture capitalists. The partners have invested over $175M of early stage capital and helped build some of the most lucrative venture-backed companies in the area. Having participated in many successful exits, as well as having worked with companies through difficult situations, the partners offer a comprehensive perspective and experience to entrepreneurs.

Aster Capital is a leading venture capital firm sponsored by Alstom and Schneider Electric, two global leaders with combined revenues in excess of US$40bn.

We have a strong experience in innovative technologies and business models within the fields of Energy and Environment.

The team benefits from the venture capital expertise acquired by the Schneider Electric Ventures team since 2000 through the management of its first fund invested in more than 20 companies in North America and Europe. Two sector experts from Alstom also joined the team, further strengthening its capabilities.

We focus on early to later stage minority investments in innovative companies world-wide. Generally acting as co-investor, Aster Capital is highly involved in its investments to enhance their successful growth.
